The winner of the Charles Schwab Challenge earns a paycheck, and they take home a vehicle, and this year it is a retro hot rod.
Last year, Emiliano Grillo, the 2023 winner of the Charles Schwab Challenge, took home a restored 1973 Ford Bronco with his cash prize.
What will the winner of this year’s event receive along with their $1.638 million check?
Charles Schwab will give away a restored and modernized 1975 Corvette Schwab Stingray to the 2024 winner. They will also take home the Colonial’s Leonard Trophy and a Scottish Royal Tartan Plaid jacket.
County Corvette, out of West Chester, Pa., customized the car, per the Charles Schwab Challenge press release. They restored, modernized, and loaded the vehicle down with cutting-edge technology.

The Schwab Stingray features a custom LT1 hoot and a one-off 1975 body. County Corvette added a modern GM LS3 V-8 motor with more than 450 horsepower.
With a 6-speed automatic transmission, the one-of-a-kind vehicle also features a Schwab badging on the trunk. The champion will have a custom console engraved with their name. Colonial’s signature Tartan Plaid will trim the interior upholstery.
This tradition began five years ago when Kevin Na won in 2019 and took home a 1973 Schwab Challenger. In 2021, the firm gave winner Jason Kokrak a 1946 Schwab Power Wagon. A 1979 Schwab Firebird went to the 2022 champion, Sam Burns.
Of course, Grillo won the 1973 Schwab Bronco last year. The only time they did not give away a vehicle was 2020, when Daniel Berger won the event.
