Here is the full payout for champion J.T. Poston and every player who made the cut at this year’s Shriners Children’s Open.
J.T. Poston managed to hang on and win the Shriners Children’s Open by a stroke on Sunday in Las Vegas.
He carded a 4-under 67 during his final round, but his playing partner, Doug Ghim, threatened to win down the stretch with a 65 of his own. Ghim began the final round three shots back of Poston, and Poston had a four-shot lead on the back nine at one point. But Poston missed two short attempts on the 16th and 17th holes—less than a combined 10 feet—while Ghim made a couple of birdies on the 16th and 18th, creating a nerve-wracking finish. Yet, Poston silenced doubts by draining a four-footer for par on the 18th hole to win by one. He will take home $1,216,000 from the $7 million purse offered at TPC Summerlin.
