Through her partnership with TYLENOL®, Leroux is helping injured athletes get back in the game.
Sydney Leroux is known for many things. She is a FIFA World Cup winner, a goal scoring threat for Angel City FC, one of the best Instagram follows you’ll find, the women’s soccer world’s favorite soccer mom, and owner of some of the best pre-game fits in the NWSL.
Leroux is a fan favorite in the women’s soccer world, and it’s easy to see why. Her fun-loving personality captivates fans off the field while her unmatched work ethic and veteran presence is a treat to watch on it.
Leroux was missing from the field for much of 2023 due to an injury, but after a long recovery, she’s back on the field with Angel City. With four goals on the season so far, Leroux picked up right where she left off.
When asked about the mental and physical tax that recovering from an injury takes, Leroux commented on how hard it can be and then immediately jumped into giving advice to other athletes who may be going through a tough time.
“I tell everyone that’s going through a really intense recovery or an injury to take it day-by-day and just get that day out of the way… When you look to the future too much when you’re injured, it can make you go crazy,” she said.
Now, Sydney Leroux is partnering with Tylenol to help others — specifically to help injured athletes.

Sydney Leroux teams up with TYLENOL® to launch the Care Commitment – a much-needed recovery fund to help injured athletes as they get back in the game.
“I had a very hard injury, so I know how hard it can be to recover… so I’m proud to announce the TYLENOL® Care Commitment which is a much-needed recovery fund to help injured athletes as they get back into the game,” said Leroux.
She continued, adding that “Tylenol is committing funding to help injured athletes recover and compete again starting this year with a sponsorship to the Women’s Sports Foundation.”
Injured or not, recovery is a huge part of the lives of professional athletes.

Recovery will be necessary for Leroux and other NWSL stars who will be staying stateside during the Paris Olympics to play in the inaugural NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup.
Starting July 19, all 14 NWSL teams and the top six Liga MX Femenil teams will compete in tournament style soccer, consisting five groups of four teams each, knockout rounds, and a final.
“I think it’s really exciting,” said Leroux. “Any time we can play another club from another country, I think that has been amazing, and we’re really excited for the summer.”
Off the field, Leroux will be recovering and working on other fun projects of her own including her Instagram show ‘BFFr’ with friend and teammate Ali Riley. Of course, she’s still remembered as (arguably) the best guest on Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird’s show ‘A Touch More’, which recently announced a podcast partnership with Vox Media.
When asked about potentially getting her back on the show for round two, Leroux gave the fans some hope.
“I hope so, there is so much that has changed in my life, I think that would be fun, and obviously I love Sue and P, so I hope so.”
Sydney Leroux has always been an advocate for other athletes. She continues to work to support others in any way she can, and her partnership with Tylenol® to launch the Care Commitment Campaign is a great example of ways she’s continuing to work to help everyone in the game.
