Deshaun Watson suffered a non-contact knee injury for the Cleveland Browns.
Deshaun Watson has played terrible football this year, but the Cleveland Browns have stuck with him at quarterback. Now Watson is being forced out of the lineup with a scary lower body injury suffered in the second quarter against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7.
Watson went down on a non-contact play and had to be carted off the field. There is speculation Watson ruptured his Achilles, but nothing is confirmed yet.
The Browns ruled Watson out for the game, and confirmed it is an Achilles injury.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson has replaced Watson at quarterback. Jameis Winston was made the third quarterback on the depth chart coming into this week.
The Cleveland Browns’ deal to bring in Watson and give him a fully guaranteed contract is legitimately one of the worst moves in NFL history. Watson has somehow kept his starting job despite terrible production so far this season.
The Browns are just 1-5 to start the season. It’s hard to imagine any quarterback can be worse than he has been so far.
We’ll update this story as it develops.
