Haas unveils ‘sakura’ livery to honor cherry blossom season at F1 Japanese Grand Prix


This weekend will feature a special paint scheme from Haas paying tribute to cherry blossom season

Special liveries are a fact of life in Formula 1, with teams marking special occasions, partnerships and activations, their racing history, and more during races throughout the year.

This weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix has its first bespoke livery, which will pay tribute to cherry blossom season in Japan.

Ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix Haas unveiled their special “sakura” livery for this year’s race, a paint scheme heavy on pink with the iconic blossoms featured prominently:

According to the team, “[t]o celebrate the official launch of cherry blossom season in Japan, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team is paying homage to the “sakura” with a bespoke livery for the Japanese Grand Prix. The popular spring flower motif will feature across the VF-25 and digital assets throughout race week.”

The team shared multiple images of the livery on their social media channels to kick off race week in Suzuka:
