Eagles QB Jalen Hurts was limited in practice on Wednesday
The Philadelphia Eagles improved to 6-2 on the NFL season Sunday with a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, keeping the Eagles within one game of the Washington Commanders in the win column in the NFC East. Now the Eagles can turn their attention to the Dallas Cowboys, as Philadelphia makes the trip to Texas this weekend to take on the 3-5 Cowboys.
A win over Dallas would not only allow the Eagles to keep pace with the Commanders in the division, but it might spell the end of the Cowboys’ season. A loss to Philadelphia on Sunday would drop Dallas to 3-6, and with the Cowboys placing Dak Prescott on Injured Reserved earlier this week, Dallas is facing a fight for their playoff lives this weekend.
However, now the Eagles might have their own injured quarterback to worry about.
Beat reporter Tim McManus, who covers the Eagles for ESPN, noted that Hurts was limited in practice on Wednesday. The Philadelphia passer did not take any practice reps during the portion that was open to the media:

McManus also noted that Hurts worked with a trainer during the session:
Something to keep an eye on. Jalen Hurts came out a little late to practice, worked with trainer during warmups and to this point has not taken a rep during individual drills.
Hurts was not listed on the Eagles’ injury report ahead of their Week 9 win over Jacksonville, and played every snap in Philadelphia’s 28-23 win over the Jaguars.
Hurts is not the only offensive star Eagles fans are keeping an eye on. Wide receiver A.J. Brown left last Sunday’s game with a knee injury.
