NFL rookies welcomed to the league in incredible video from Fanatics

The annual NFL Hall of Fame Game is Thursday night between the Chicago Bears and the Houston Texans, marking the official start of the preseason slate.

However, NFL teams have been at work for weeks now, preparing for the 2024 season. For rookies, that work includes getting acclimated to a new city, sometimes is city — or even a coast — they have never visited before.

To that point, Fanatics stepped in to help. The company put together a video of various fans, celebrities, and family members welcoming rookies to their new teams. And it is well worth your time:

We couldn’t think of a better way to introduce these young stars to their new cities. Welcome home, 2024 @NFL Rookies. pic.twitter.com/7HuiUfv6aN

Some of the best moments?

When Merrianne Do, the self-described “crazy Chargers fan” from last season, welcomed Brenden Rice to the league. Mostly for the look of pure joy on Rice’s face.
Ashton Kutcher getting interrupted by his children, who then joined in welcoming Caleb Willams to the Chicago Bears.
Kevin Durant making sure Jayden Daniels knew to get his hands on some mumbo sauce and to put it on everything. (Seriously Jayden, listen to KD on this one).
Mark Wahlberg telling Drake Maye to call him if he ever needs anything in New England.
Roman Wilson meeting “[y]our most average Steelers fan.”
Adonai Mitchell hearing from two Indianapolis Colts fans Elias and Eli Otero. Known as LUCHA BLUE, they wear luchador masks from Mexico in honor of pro wrestler Rey Mysterio. Elias was selected as the Colts’ Fan of the Year in 2021. Eli was born with Alagille syndrome, which impacts the liver.
Xavier Legette hearing from his grandmother. (As an aside, this is where the tears fell for me, and I’m willing to bet for you too).
