Here are our picks for the week, including Thanksgiving.
It’s Thursday, football, and turkey all rolled into one. We kick off Week 12 in the NFL with a full Thanksgiving slate — which actually features some pretty great games this year.
Oftentimes Thanksgiving football is more about the pageantry than the actual competition, and we’ve had years where none of the games actually play into the playoffs. Now we have the Lions, Cowboys and 49ers all jockeying for position in the final stretch.
Superficially this might seem like three very easy wins for the three best teams — but weird things can happen on a short week, especially surrounding the drama of Thanksgiving itself. The one game to keep a close eye on here is Washington vs. Dallas. The Cowboys are a really talented team, but the Commanders have explosive offensive potential out of nowhere because of Eric Bieniemy’s genius. This shouldn’t be a trap game, but it could easily become one.
Here’s how our panel is picking this week.
