In the PGA Tour’s regular season finale, multiple big names missed the cut at the Wyndham Championship, including Jordan Spieth.
The Wyndham Championship has been a wild weekend — a marathon to finish the regular season of the PGA Tour. Play started Friday, and the cut was not made until Sunday morning.
This week was make-or-break for many of the golfers in the field, as plenty were trying to get inside that final 70 for the FedEx Cup playoffs.
Many guys were also looking to improve their standings to prolong their season as long as possible.
It is a tight race at the top of the leaderboard. Matt Kuchar came into the third round with a one-shot lead as he looks to extend his playoff run. He has never missed a FedEx Cup playoff in his career.
Cameron Young, Aaron Rai, Chad Ramey, Max Greyserman and Billy Horschel are all in the mix.
Through the first two rounds of play, 1,154 birdies and 49 eagles were made, and the first two days saw 51 scores of 66 or lower.
The cut line in Greensboro, NC, at Sedgeville Country Club was 4-under.
Let us look at the different players who missed the cut.

Jordan Speith is teetering very closely to the Top-70 line. However, it seems he will still get to play in Memphis.
