Let playoff season begin for the PGA Tour! Up first is the FedEx St. Jude Championship, so here is the Top 70 who will compete.
The Top 70 in the FedEx Cup playoffs take on TPC Southwind for the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
These guys want a piece of that $20 million purse and the elevated FedEx Cup points. Only the Top 50 will advance and head to Colorado for the BMW Championship.

70. Victor Perez
Victor Perez got a massive confidence boost from the Olympics to get into the playoffs on the number, so will it follow him to Memphis?
69. Emiliano Grillo
Grillo has been a quiet player in 2024, with his best finish (T7) in Hawaii for the Sony Open.
68. Jhonattan Vegas
Vegas got his first win in over six years at the 3M Open to close out July.
67. Nick Dunlap
Nick Dunlap is a two-time PGA Tour winner who should be ranked higher in the standings after Dunlap made history in 2024; watch out for him in Memphis.

The Irishman’s best finish came at the RBC Heritage with a T12, but has five total Top-25s on the season.

He is one of seven former Georgia Bulldogs in the playoffs and has two Top 10 and 5 Top 25s on the year.
64. Mark Hubbard
Hubbard had a strong season, making 19 straight cuts; he also finished third at the Zurich Classic but missed two cuts in his last three starts.
63. Jordan Spieth

62. Min Woo Lee
Let him cook; Min Woo Lee has two runner-up finishes this season and has played strongly throughout the year.

Malnati won the Valspar Championship earlier in the season but has missed three cuts in his last four starts.

He finished tied second at the Texas Children’s Houston Open and has seven Top 25s on the season.

Davis Thompson became a first-time winner at the John Deere Classic and was runner-up twice at the Rocket Mortgage and Myrtle Beach Classic.
23. Billy Horschel
Billy Horschel began his ascend the FedEx Cup standings when he won the Corales Puntacana Championship.
22. Christiaan Bezuidenhout
In 20 starts, Bezuidenhout has 11 Top 25s and one runner-up finish at the American Express.
21. Tom Hoge
He has a T3, T72 and three missed cuts in his last five starts.
20. Brian Harman
Oh look, another Georgia Bulldog; Harman finished runner-up at The Players Championship and has not missed a cut since the Masters.
19. Justin Thomas
Thomas missed the playoffs last year and still made the Ryder Cup team; this season has been better, with 5 Top 10s and eight Top 25s.

Byeong Hun An has 10 Top 25s and 5 Top 10s in 19 starts.
11. Patrick Cantlay
Cantlay’s season highlights include four Top 10s and 9 Top 25s, and he only missed one cut.
10. Shane Lowry
Lowry won the Zurich Classic with Rory McIlroy and finished sixth at the Open.
9. Sungjae Im
Sungjae Im has 11 Top 25s in 2024 and is so close to putting it together that a win must be in his near future.
8. Hideki Matsuyama
2024 Olympic bronze medalist Hideki Matsuyama is without his caddie and agent in Memphis due to a robbery, but he did win the Genesis Invitational earlier in the season.
7. Sahith Theegala
Theegala’s highlights include two runner-up finishes at The Sentry and RBC Heritage in 2024.
6. Ludvig Åberg
The Swedish phenom continues to impress but shows there is still a learning curve despite his runner-up finish at The Masters.
5. Wyndham Clark
Wyndham Clark won the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and redeemed himself in Paris with back-to-back 65s to close the tournament.
4. Collin Morikawa
Morikawa has an incredible 14 Top 25 finishes in 18 starts but cannot seem to put it all together and win again.
3. Rory McIlroy
McIlroy is another two-time winner in 2024, winning the Zurich Classic with Lowry and his fourth career Wells Fargo Championship; he also finished runner-up to Bryson DeChambeau at Pinehurst.
2. Xander Schauffele
Schauffele is the only player to win two majors in 2024 as he finally ended his major drought to win the PGA Championship and the Open.
1. Scottie Scheffler
A green jacket, gold medal, 14 Top 10s and six PGA Tour victories in 2024 are why he is likely the unofficial Player of the Year.
