Victor Cruz believes the New York Giants need to evaluate the talent they have across the board

Victor Cruz believes the Giants are working towards the future.
The New York Giants are down quite bad at the moment. This is fact.
Such has been the case for a very long time now for those unaware. It sounds silly to say something like “if they hadn’t won two Super Bowls” because the Giants have lifted the Lombardi Trophy twice since 2007 (only the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs can claim the same), but the reality is that outside of two pinnacle seasons the Giants have been lost at sea for almost this entire century.
One of the people who was heavily responsible for the last 25 years not being totally terrible is wide receiver Victor Cruz who was kind enough to join me for a chat earlier this week. Victor and I sat down with one another (virtually, to be clear, that is how we roll in 2024) just one day after it was announced that New York was benching Daniel Jones so obviously I asked him about it.
You can watch our entire conversation below.
Victor noted that the Giants have to figure out a North Star of sorts and move forward with it with regards to the rebuild that they are going to undergo. It is extraordinarily difficult to succeed in the NFL, even if you have wildly talented people on your roster. I don’t know that this is the case for this year’s Giants team, but I know that it is very difficult to be as consistently bad as they have been since Cruz and others moved on from the organization.
Among the other things I talked to Victor about was a recent partnership of his with Captain Morgan surrounding a crewneck that is sure to impress.
Starting November 22, limited quantities of the Captain Morgan Crewneck will drop on KidSuper.com. Miss the drop? You’re in luck – Captain Morgan is unlocking access for fans 21+ to score the coolest merch of the season. Head over to FollowTheCaptain.com, and while you’re there, dive into a world of hidden clues and surprises, because you never know what Captain Morgan has in store as we gear up for Super Bowl LIX.
Victor Cruz has always been known as a fashionable person and it seems he is continuing that sense even at this point in his retirement.
Our thanks to Victor and Captain Morgan for the time.
