Week 13 PPR TE fantasy football rankings including injury news, sleepers, more

Which tight ends will shine in Week 13 for your fantasy football teams? We’ll take a look at all of them in our PPR rankings.
Welcome to lucky Week 13 of the NFL season. After a frightful start to the fantasy tight end season, the position has mostly righted the ship and are smoothly sailing into the fantasy playoffs. The latest tight end to make a big move is Jonnu Smith, who has thrived in the Dolphins quick passing game. And over the last two games he’s been on fire, catching 15-of-19 targets for 188 yards and three touchdowns. This surge has moved Smith up to TE5 on the season and there’s no reason to think he won’t continue to see a usable fantasy workload to finish out the season,
As far as the No. 1 fantasy tight end on the season in PPR leagues, that is now Brock Bowers, who made the leap with George Kittle out in Week 11. Kittle is easily the leader in standard scoring, as he has eight touchdowns to Bowers’ three, while Bowers has 74 receptions to Kittle’s 49.
Sophomore tight end Trey McBride skipped over Travis Kelce this week in fantasy points, as he caught 12-of-15 targets for 133 yards. Amazingly, he has just one touchdown all season and it was a rushing touchdown. Yet, he’s still TE3 on the season in PPR. Travis Kelce on the other hand has started to lose work to Noah Gray, who now has an amazing four touchdowns in his last two games, while Kelce does not. After finishing TE3, TE2, and TE1 in PPR leagues Week 8-10, he’s finished TE38 and TE12 in his last two.
Week 13 tight end bye weeks
None, but six next week, so be vigilant
Week 13 tight end injuries
Ja’Tavion Sanders, Panthers
Sanders suffered a scary neck injury against the Chiefs in Week 12. He had come on a bit over the last few weeks, but appears he’ll likely be out for a while. Tommy Tremble will lead the tight ends moving forward, but doesn’t have any fantasy appeal.
Jake Ferguson, Cowboys
Ferguson missed Week 12 with a concussion and is in danger of missing the Thanksgiving Day game against the Giants. Luke Schoonmaker played well enough to have streaming value if Ferguson can’t make it back.
Noah Fant, Seahawks
Fant appeared close to returning last week from his groin injury, but was ultimately ruled out. We’ll see if he can get back to face the Jets this Sunday.
Dalton Kincaid, Bills
The Bills Week 12 bye should have given Kincaid enough time to recover from his knee injury. He’s not a lock, but he should be available against the 49ers on Sunday night.
Week 13 tight end sleepers
Taysom Hill, Saints vs. Rams
Hill isn’t exactly a sleeper, but his inconsistency can make you worry. The good news is that the Saints still are lacking offensive playmakers due to injuries and Hill will continue to get his chances. We can’t expect his huge numbers from before the bye, but knowing he has those kinds of games in him makes him a must start each week at a weak position.
Noah Gray, Chiefs vs. Raiders
Yes, recency bias is going to cloud judgment with Noah Gray. He’s now had back-to-back two touchdown games! We know that isn’t sustainable, but we also know he caught four touchdowns in two games! Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes went back to the well for a reason; Gray is good. Of course, he’s not seeing enough targets to feel great about starting him, but, the Raiders are awful against tight ends, as they’ve allowed 36 receptions for 400 yards and six touchdowns in the last four games. Also Travis Kelce isn’t what he used to be and giving Gray more work can only help Kelce stay fresh for the playoffs and at this point, the Chiefs just want that third straight Super Bowl win.
