Baker Mayfield did something at Lambeau Field no other visiting QB had ever done.

The Baker Mayfield experience in Tampa Bay has had its ups and downs, but on Sunday the signal caller was on fire. Against the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau, Mayfield threw for 381 yards and four touchdowns in the win, putting himself in rarefied air.

That’s right.

Of all the visiting QBs to ever play in Lambeau Field, Baker Mayfield is the FIRST visiting QB to have a perfect passer rating.

Think about all of the QBs to go into Lambeau Field. Drew Brees, Tom Brady, countless other big name QBs, and none of them had a higher passer rating than Mayfield today.

In fact, if you want to extend it out to all QBs who have played at Lambeau Field, only two names stand at the top of the passer rating mountain:

Baker Mayfield is the second player ever to post a perfect passer rating at Lambeau Field (minimum 5 attempts). He joins Aaron Rodgers, who did this in 2019 vs the Raiders.

That’s right, folks. Baker Mayfield and Aaron Rodgers are the pinnacle of QB play in Lambeau Field and you can’t say I’m wrong.

Mayfield has the Buccaneers in the thick of the NFC South playoff hunt, putting together some spurts of high level play. If he has to go on the road come playoff time, you never know what’ll happen. He might just make history.
