Former NFL offensive lineman Gosder Cherilus made a career out of moving people, now in retirement he’s moved a plane full of people from Dublin to Boston after allegedly peeing on another passenger.

According to WCVB in Boston, Cherilus reportedly got into an altercation with another passenger, before deciding to urinate on them shortly after takeoff.

“According to Massachusetts State Police, Delta Air Lines requested assistance from troopers at Terminal E for Flight 154, which was returning to Logan due to an unruly passenger who urinated on another passenger shortly after taking off.

Massachusetts State Police troopers from Troop F, along with personnel from Customs and Border Patrol, boarded the aircraft and identified the suspect as 40-year-old Gosder Cherilus of Wakefield. State Police say that Cherilus became irate and uncooperative as troopers verbally ordered him to leave the plane. Troopers eventually escorted Cherilus from the aircraft to the jet bridge, where he was placed into custody.”

This account of the incident matches flight data found on FlightAware, which shows DAL154 being in the air for approximately an hour, before turning around over Nova Scotia and returning to Boston.

As a result the flight, which was set to land in Dublin at approximately 11 a.m. local time on Sunday didn’t end up leaving until 8:39 p.m. the following day — causing passengers to potentially be stuck in the airport for 16 hours, as well as losing a full day of their trips.

Cherlius was charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing a flight crew by Massachusetts State Police. He was arraigned on Monday, pleading not guilty to the charge. Cherilus is also under federal investigation for disrupting the flight.
