Bo Nix yelled ‘jump offsides’ at Browns defense in NFL’s best new trend

Published on

The Broncos rookie QB is already a veteran at the line.

Bo Nix is balling for the Denver Broncos. The rookie QB continued his solid debut season against the Cleveland Browns in Week 13, connecting on a 93-yard touchdown to help Denver keep pace in a high scoring game. Nix has looked nothing like a rookie this season, which might be partially because he’s already 24 years old after five seasons in college.

Nix’s poise even extends to hard counts. As the Broncos lined up to go for it on 4th-and-short inside the red zone, Nix did his best to try to get Cleveland to jump offsides. As the Browns’ line stayed disciplined, Nix resorted to yelling “jump offsides!” before taking a delay of game. Watch the clip here:

If one of the defensive lineman thought he was playing a big game of ‘Simon Says,’ Nix would look like a genius right now. Either way, it’s really funny.

If this sounds familiar, Cleveland Browns QB Jameis Winston also tried the “jump offsides!” command last week.

Is this the next Dak Prescott “HERE WE GO” type line? Sign me up for it.
