Moving Day in Scotland was wild as many players like Adam Scott were pushed into contention with 18 holes left to play.
Ludvig Åberg may have retained his lead at the Genesis Scottish Open, but many PGA Tour players made the most of Moving Day.
Multiple guys went low on Saturday as The Renaissance Club golf course played in their favor.
Moving Day is all about shooting up the leaderboard, and these five guys did. They posted a strong number to contend in Scotland.
Let’s see who made the most of round 3 at the Genesis Scottish Open.
3. Collin Morikawa

It’s another PGA Tour event and another week of Collin Morikawa putting himself into contention. On Saturday, he carded a 4-under 66 to sit at 13-under total. He is four shots behind Ludvig Åberg, who sits at 17-under.
With six birdies and two bogeys, he put himself in an excellent spot to make moves on Sunday.
The two-time major winner has one runner-up finish, six top 10s, and 12 top 25s this season.
2. Adam Scott

Adam Scott has not been in contention in a long time but is at the Genesis Scottish Open this week. The PGA Tour veteran jumped 12 spots on the leaderboard after his 6-under 64 on Saturday.
Scott turned in 31 shots after he made four birdies on the front nine. He followed that with three more birdies and a bogey to come home in 33 strokes. The Aussie has a lot of momentum in his back pocket and some of the most experienced among those in contention.
This position is Scott’s best since the 2020 Genesis Invitational when he held a share of the lead heading into the final day of play. He has not won in over four years but wants to end that streak.
1. Robert MacIntyre

Robert MacIntyre is trying to become the second Scottish golfer to win the Scottish Open. Colin Montgomerie was the only Scot to win this event in 1999. MacIntyre finished runner-up in 2023 to Rory McIlroy.
Now, he looks to close the deal and get his second victory in 2024. The RBC Canadian Open winner fired off an impressive 7-under 63 to move up 13 spots and post the low round of the day. He challenged Åberg, but it was not quite enough.
MacIntyre recorded seven birdies, an eagle and two bogeys on Saturday. He has a lot of momentum heading into the final day, and with him being a Scottish golfer, the fans will be on his side.
Can he get it done?
