Snoop Dogg was in the booth today for Reds-Brewers, and Elly de la Cruz left him stunned

Snoop Dogg is in Wisconsin this weekend, set to take the stage for a show at Potawatomi Casino Hotel to kick off a summer concert series. Ahead of that show the legendary artist paid a visit to American Family Field, where he threw out the first pitch and then stopped by the broadcast booth in the fourth inning of a game between the visiting Cincinnati Reds and the Milwaukee Brewers.

During his stint in the booth, the game was in a scoreless tie but the Brewers had a runner on second with two outs. Milwaukee had Brice Turang, their No. 9 hitter, at the plate and the second baseman laced a hard grounder to the hole between shortstop Elly De La Cruz and Reds’ third baseman Jeimer Candelario.

Apparently Snoop was not familiar with De La Cruz’s range, nor his arm.

But he is now.

Watch — and listen — as Snoop learns in real time what baseball fans have come to understand over the past year: De La Cruz is a walking highlight reel:

“He ain’t got no arm like that! No he don’t! No he don’t!”

Yes, he does.

For the record, Snoop’s first pitch was right down the heart of the plate:

Baseball absolutely, positively, needs more Snoop Dogg.
