The 2024 Chiefs Schedule (Taylor’s Version).
The most important schedule information beyond which teams are playing and where the bye weeks fall is how this will all impact Taylor Swift. It was the great subplot to the 2023 NFL season, as we watched the unlikely romance between Swift and Travis Kelce grow, turning every Chiefs game into an unparalleled media event.
Now was Taylor and Travis try to avoid their own sophomore slump, he dive into the Chiefs’ 2024 slate to see how the games align with Taylor’s tour schedule for Era’s 2024.
As it stands there is a very real chance Taylor could be at every Chiefs game this year. Unlike her wild turnarounds flying to and from Asia and Australia, the 2024 tour schedule really opens up right around the time the NFL schedule is beginning. From August 15 to August 20 there are five show at Wembley Stadium in the U.K., then Swift is on an international break until the middle of November, with her domestic dates being pretty manageable as well.
This means she could easily attend the Chiefs first five games of the season with no conflict. These would be:
Chiefs vs. Ravens on Sept. 5
Chiefs vs. Bengals on Sept. 15
Chiefs AT Falcons on Sept. 22
Chiefs AT Chargers on Sept. 29
Chiefs vs. Saints on Oct. 7
We hit our first conflict on October 20. The Chiefs play at San Francsico at 4:25 p.m. ET — but Swift is set to play at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami at 7 p.m. This will be the first game she misses.
The same happens the next week. Kansas City travel to Las Vegas for a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, but Swift is performing in New Orleans at 7 p.m. Taylor will them be on break before going to Canada, meaning she can see the next two games.
Chiefs vs. Buccaneers on Nov. 4
Chiefs vs. Broncos on Nov. 10
Then we hit a small scheduling snag, but it’s one that’s really easy to overcome. The next portion of The Era’s Tour is in Canada, starting with six shows in Toronto. Taylor performs at the Rogers Centre on Saturday, November 16 — with the Chiefs then playing the Bills on Sunday, November 17.
With less than 100 miles between the cities it’s extremely easy for her to make the game on Sunday, which is an off day from the tour — then perform again in Toronto on Tuesday night.
The same happens the following week. Swift performs in Toronto on Saturday, November 23 — with the Chiefs playing in Carolina on Sunday. It’s another fairly easy trip to make, then she’s off for two more weeks until heading to Vancouver.
There is only one true conflict where it’s unlikely Taylor could watch Travis and the Chiefs. That occurs on Sunday, December 8. The Chiefs play the Chargers on Sunday Night Football at 8:20 p.m. ET — and Taylor performs in Vancouver the same night.
From here on it’s all smooth sailing. We don’t know any of Taylor’s 2025 tour dates yet — which could impact the Super Bowl, but unlike last year she’s in a relationship with Travis, is aware the Super Bowl could be on the horizon and can plan around it.
It’s a good year for Taylor and Travis.
