Lewis Hamilton helps unveil the Denver Broncos’ 2024 NFL schedule

The seven-time F1 champion, and Broncos owner, helped introduce Denver’s 2024 schedule

The Denver Broncos enlisted the help of a seven-time champion to unveil their 2024 NFL schedule.

Lewis Hamilton.

Hamilton, who joined the Walton-Penner Family Ownership Group in 2022, is featured in the team’s schedule release video to preview the 2024 schedule. The Formula 1 driver is tasked with trying different foods associated with each team on Denver’s schedule this season. The video begins with Hamilton eating carrots dipped in ranch dressing, as the Broncos open their season taking on the Indianapolis Colts.

“I’m not big on ranch,” says Hamilton as he dips a carrot into the dressing. “There’s no way that they’re eating carrots down there.”

Hamilton then concedes that the flavor profile is actually pretty good. “Actually, that is really banging” says the driver, laughing.

Some other incredible moments? When Hamilton asks “[w]hat is a yinzer?” regarding Denver’s Week 2 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers is one such moment. Or when Hamilton winces after trying southern grits, associated with Denver’s Week 8 game against the Carolina Panthers.

“That is definitely the worst one,” says the Mercedes driver. “What the hell is that? The texture is so slimy … that one really offended me.”

He also left the dog treats, for Denver’s Week 13 game against the Cleveland Browns, for his bulldog Roscoe.

One of the dishes that Hamilton did appreciate? The avocado toast, paired with the Los Angeles Chargers, who the Broncos play in Week 6 and again in Week 16. “This is bomb,” reported Hamilton.
