The Giants just unveiled one of the ugliest NFL uniforms of all time

Ewwww,

Honoring history is important, but the Giants flew too close to the sun and created an absolute mess. To commemorate the 100th year of the franchise the team is bringing out what they call “Pieces of the Past” — which is apparently code for this abomination.

Instead of just settling on one old uniform and brining it back, the Giants mashed up three into this hot mess. The helmet is from 1938, the jersey is from 1933, with the pants and socks being from 1928. It goes without saying what the biggest problem is here — because by mashing up three different eras there’s nothing cohesive about the look.

In case you’re wondering what flesh-colored pants look like on a white guy, the answer is NOT GREAT!

Even Daniel Jones knows how bad these look. Do you know how bad clothing needs to be to make Daniel Jones look embarrassed in them?

The helmets are actually pretty great. It’s just everything else. It’s as if they asked a European designer for Ralph Lauren to make football uniforms and their only point of reference is teen comedies about football.

Sometimes the past needs to stay in the past.
