Will Levis getting MVP votes has to be election interference

What is happening here?

When it comes to opinions about sports I tend to side with the idea that everyone is free to make their feelings known. I might not agree with it, but if you can back it up with irrefutable evidence I’ll listen to it.

That said, the idea that Will Levis is the frontrunner for NFL MVP in 2024 is so unconscionably hilarious that I have to believe Levis voted for himself. That’s exactly what happened when The Athletic published its NFL player awards, with Levis earning two votes.

This has definitely been a down year for passing around the NFL, and that might lead you to believe that maybe Levis has flown under the radar and deserves a shot. I’m here to tell you: No, no he does not. Not on this planet, not on any other planet, not even the recesses of the mind of the most deranged long-odds bettor trying to make a mint off the most preposterous wager they can think of.

Here is what Will Levis has done in 2024 thus far.

604 passing yards (28th in the NFL)
Four passing touchdowns (Tied 17th in the NFL)
Six interceptions (Tied for most in the NFL)
68.5% completion (16th among passers with over 50 attempts)
72.8 passer rating (29th among passers with over 50 attempts)
The Titans are 1-3 on the season

The only thing I can think is that an opposing team did this as a joke because he helped them win. Either that or Levis voted for himself and convince one of his Titans teammates into making a bad decision along with him.

I’m all for building up you guy, particularly if you really like him — but we don’t need to lie here. Levis has been hot garbage in 2024, as has Anthony Richardson who somehow also got two votes.

We used to be a proper country.
