Sports Illustrated has announced that World No. 1 Nelly Korda will be a part of its swimsuit issue in 2025.

World No. 1 Nelly Korda has had quite the 2024.

Korda won six events overall, including five in a row. She recently won the LPGA’s Rolex Player of the Year Award for the first time, and then, in September, she helped the Americans defeat the Europeans in the Solheim Cup, another first for her. But it was not all roses for Korda in 2024. She faced trials and tribulations over the summer, missing the cut at the U.S. Women’s Open and the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, despite arriving at both events as the overwhelming favorite.

Off the course has been a whirlwind, too.

She attended The Met Gala in May—the only professional golfer in attendance—and then won at Liberty National across the Hudson River less than two weeks later.

Korda has also been featured heavily on television, appearing in a T-Mobile commercial that has aired regularly throughout the year.

She has become one of the most prominent female athletes in the country. Hence, this past weekend, on Nov. 2, Sports Illustrated announced that Korda would be featured in its 2025 Swimsuit Issue in an Instagram post.

“It’s officially tee time for the 2025 SI Swimsuit issue!” The post reads.

“We’re excited to welcome @nellykorda to the fold as we kick off the first photoshoot of the 2025 issue!”

When the issue will be released remains to be determined.

But before then, Korda has three events left in 2024: The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, the CME Group Tour Championship, and the Grant Thornton Invitational, a mixed event in which she will play with Tony Finau.

Perhaps she can cap off her stellar—and life-changing season—with another victory.
