Hopefully he brings that winning mentality to LA
While Los Angeles Lakers’ second round pick Bronny James is in the midst of summer league right now, there’s bound to be some down time in between games. It’s the perfect time for bonding with your new teammates or members of the NBA via video games.
James did just that, winning a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III challenge, taking out Grant Williams in a 2-minute challenge. James ended up getting $10,000 and a custom championship belt for his victory.

Here are photos of James celebrating his victory:
James has been described as an avid gamer. He’s been a part of the video game team Faze Clan since 2020, along with NFL QB Kyler Murray.
Call of Duty is super popular among athletes, so it makes sense that James is both good at and enjoys playing the game.
It’s cool to see players having some light fun before the grind of an NBA season gets to them. Finally a Laker has won a trophy worth something.
