Bryson DeChambeau continues to grow in popularity, as the latest episode of his ‘Breaking 50’ show will feature Tony Romo.

Bryson DeChambeau’s YouTube ratings continue to soar. A few weeks ago, he passed the one-million subscriber threshold, proving he is one of the most popular players in the game.

His recent U.S. Open triumph helped him achieve that, as did his recent collaborations with former U.S. President Donald Trump and two-time major champion John Daly. As of this writing, DeChambeau’s videos with Trump and Daly combined have exceeded 17 million views, eye-opening figures that have brought in a diverse array of eyeballs.

But his next video should garner plenty of attention, too.

DeChambeau announced Monday that former Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo will appear on the next episode of ‘Breaking 50.’

In this series, DeChambeau invites a guest to join him for a two-man scramble from the red tees to try and break 50—a preposterously low score, even from the most forward teeing grounds. Along with Trump and Daly, other guests on this series have included Paige Spiranac, 2017 Masters champion Sergio Garcia, and Long Drive champion Martin Borgmeier. DeChambeau has nine episodes of ‘Breaking 50’ in his YouTube repertoire and 100 other videos on his channel.

But as this tease with Romo reveals, DeChambeau has yet to break 50 with any of his playing partners. Perhaps the current NFL on CBS broadcaster will help him do so, as Romo suggests in this video.

After all, Romo is a tremendous player. He has won the American Century Championship three times, most recently doing so in 2022. But he tied for 38th at Lake Tahoe this past July, a disappointing finish given his skill level. Yet, Romo will once again give PGA Tour Q-School a try, per Brentley Romine of the Golf Channel. Romo’s pre-qualifying rounds begin next week at Sand Creek Station Golf Club in Newton, Kansas.

Perhaps DeChambeau has offered him a tip or two before giving Q-school another go.
