The Dallas Cowboys entered Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons with their backs against the wall. Sitting at 3-4 in the NFC East behind both the Washington Commanders and the Philadelphia Eagles, and two games behind Washington in the loss column, the Cowboys need to turn things around quickly if they are going to salvage their season.
But they might have to do that without Dak Prescott.
Cooper Rush entered Dallas’ game against the Falcons in the fourth quarter, with the Cowboys trailing the Falcons by a score of 27-13.
The team announced that Prescott was out for the rest of the game with a hamstring injury:

In limited action this season Rush has completed 9-of-14 passes for 52 yards and an interception, without a touchdown. But with Washington currently leading the Giants in the fourth quarter at MetLife Stadium, and the Eagles hosting the 2-6 Jacksonville Jaguars, this is a critical moment for the Cowboys.
And they face it without Prescott.
