Full list of Week 9 straight-up picks with confidence levels

We make picks for all 15 NFL games with levels of confidence ahead of Week 7.

The 2024 NFL season is passing through the halfway point and November is upon us. The playoff chase will heat up in the coming weeks, but we’re already seeing some tight races headed into Week 9. The NFC North might be the best division in NFL history, the NFC West has all four teams sitting at either 4-4 or 3-4, and the AFC East is a dumpster fire behind Buffalo.

Last week saw some notable upsets, with the Browns shocking the Ravens. We also got a wild Hail Mary finish to the Commanders-Bears game, which gave me a small bump in my weekly confidence picks. I went 12-4 and nailed three of my four upset picks.

We’re on to Week 9, opening with Texans-Jets on Thursday Night Football and closing with Bucs-Chiefs on Monday Night Football. Here’s my full list of picks for Week 9. A game with three asterisks (***) after it indicates a game where I’m picking the betting underdog to get the win.
