The Memorial Tournament Top 10 after Round 2:
First, let’s take a look at the leaderboard after 36 holes.

Scottie Scheffler holds a comfortable 3-stroke lead over Adam Hadwin and Viktor Hovland. However, there is a lot of golf left to play.
This leaderboard is full of the best players in the world. From Scheffler to Rory McIlroy and PGA Championship winner Xander Schauffele, this is the kind of top-10 fans want to see at events.
Muirfield Village will have its claws out for the week, but the conditions could continue to cause players even more issues.
The Memorial sends big names home packing
As one of the three Signature Events with a cut, the Memorial saw some popular names head home early. The top 50 and ties from this 73-player field received third-round tee times.
The most notable PGA Tour players to miss the cut are reigning U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark, Jordan Spieth, Mackenzie Hughes, Patrick Cantlay, Justin Rose, and Rickie Fowler.
Golf Twitter troll LMPD Hard for new Scottie Scheffler footage
Additional footage from Scottie Scheffler’s arrest at the PGA Championship surfaced on Friday afternoon. Golf Twitter trolled in an epic way, making the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) look silly about the whole situation.

Updates from the professional golf world
LGPA
The women are playing on the Bay Course at the renowned Seaview Resort outside of Atlantic City, New Jersey for the Shoprite LPGA Classic. After the first round, Arpichaya Yubol leads the pack at 10-under after she shot a remarkable 10-under 61 on Friday.
Megan Khang and Brittany Lincicome both sit at 6-under and are in contention. World No. 1 Nelly Korda is not in the field after she missed last week’s U.S. Women’s Open cut.
Champions Tour
The seniors are in Wisconsin for the American Family Insurance Championship. There is a two-way tie at the top between Glen Day and Boo Weekley. They both shot 4-under 68 in Round 1 at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wisconsin.
Other notable names in contention include David Duval and Steve Stricker, who are tied for third at 3-under. Last week’s winner, Ernie Else, is tied for 20th at 1-under.
LIV Golf
LIV Golf is in Houston this week, as 12 of its players will compete in next week’s U.S. Open. Play began on Friday at The Golf Club of Houston, the former site of the PGA Tour’s Shell Houston Open.
After the first day of play, the Cleeks GC lead by three at 17-under. Joaquin Niemann’s Torque GC is in solo second at 14-under.
Ripper GC, Legion XIII, 4Aces GC, and Fireballs GC are tied for third and five shots back at 12-under.
On the individual leaderboard, 2014 U.S. Open winner Martin Kaymer, his teammate Adrian Meronk, and Legion XIII’s Caleb Surratt all shot 7-under 65s to have a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard.
