Lions WR Jameson Williams humps the ground in wild TD celebration vs. Commanders

Only two pumps though, so no flag.

Detroit Lions’ WR Jameson Williams is a bit of a loose cannon. As the resident speedster of the Lions’ offense, you never know if he’s going to take a deep route to the house or do something bananas in the opposite way.

This was on full display in the Lions’ divisional round game against the Washington Commanders. Williams took a reverse, and combined with a block from QB Teddy Bridgewater, outran every Commander for a touchdown.

However, as wild as the touchdown was, Williams’ celebration was even wilder.

Like you just can’t hump the ground after a touchdown man. How do you even come up with that in the context of everything that just happened in the game? What behooves you to pull this celebration out while being down 24-14 is insane behavior, but it feels like something Williams would do.

He’s lucky his teammates stopped him after two humps because three would make it a flag.
