Angel Reese earned a soft ejection, and Lonzo Ball offered to pay any fine while sitting courtside.
Angel Reese was hit with one of the stupidest ejections in a long, long time — and she’s getting support from another baller in Chicago. On Tuesday night Reese was assessed a double technical and tossed after she simply waved her hand in disapproval for being called for a foul.
Angel Reese has been tossed from the game.
Looking at the replay, it looks like she waved off the referee after she was called for a foul which led to the ejection. pic.twitter.com/l5b6xMEk3j

Reese, wearing the black No. 5 for the Sky allegedly said “that’s bullshit,” before dismissing the foul by waving off the ref. At no point did she make contact, or even come close to the ref — but feelings were hurt badly enough that she was tossed. It left Reese and her teammates stunned, while Sky coach Teresa Weatherspoon said she wasn’t given an explanation for the ejection.
Teresa Weatherspoon asked about Angel Reese’s ejection after game & Coach T is unamused.
“I tried to get an explanation. I did not. I don’t know to this moment what has happened.” ♂️

Anyone who has ever watched basketball knows this was soft as hell, and it no way warranted being ejected from the game. Lonzo Ball of the Chicago Bulls agreed. Ball was sitting in the front row and marveling at the talent in the WNBA. He wants it to be known that he’s got Reese’s back if she’s fined for her ejection
Ref that threw out @Reese10Angel is weak btw… You know who you are (Keep ya money Angel I got you)

It wasn’t long before Reese saw the tweet and replied.
Ball clearly had a great time at his first WNBA game:
Like I knew she was cold but seeing it in person jus hit different

Just good Chicago basketball vibes to see the Bulls and Sky team up to take on the zebras. We love to see it.
