The schedule for Wild Card Weekend is set, and here are the networks airing games this weekend

The schedule for Wild Card Weekend in the NFL is set.

It took the final game of the regular season between the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings to determine who is the NFC North Champion, and the NFC’s No. 1 seed. The Lions pulled away in the second half to pull out the win, and earn the NFC’s only bye week.

That means the Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs will be watching the games along with the rest of us this weekend.

Here are the networks you will need to tune to for each game.

Saturday, January 11

Los Angeles Chargers (5) at Houston Texans (4)
4:30 p.m. Eastern, CBS/Paramount+

This game will be on CBS, as well as being available for streaming on Paramount+, the network’s streaming service. Ian Eagle and Charles Davis are slated to be on the call.

Pittsburgh Steelers (6) at Baltimore Ravens (3)
8:00 p.m. Eastern, Amazon Prime Video

These AFC North rivals will square off for the the third time this season on Saturday night. The Ravens and the Steelers split the season series, but Pittsburgh enters the playoffs on a four-game losing streak.

This game is also exclusive to Amazon Prime Video. For more on how to stream this game, we have an explainer here.

Sunday, January 12

Denver Broncos (7) at Buffalo Bills (2)
1:00 p.m. Eastern, CBS/Paramount+

Sunday’s tripleheader of NFL playoff games gets underway with the Denver Broncos making the trip to upstate New York to take on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. This game will be broadcast on CBS, while also being available on Paramount+, the network’s streaming service.

The lead CBS crew of Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will be on the call for this game.

Green Bay Packers (7) at Philadelphia Eagles (2)
4:30 p.m. Eastern, FOX/FOX Deportes

Week 1 of the 2024 NFL regular season featured the first NFL game in Brazil … between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers. The Eagles won that game in São Paulo by a final score of 34-29.

As luck would have it, those teams will meet again in the Wild Card Round, with the Packers making the trip to Philadelphia. This game will be broadcast on FOX with their lead crew of Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady on the call.

Washington Commanders (6) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3)
7:30 p.m. Eastern, NBC/Peacock

Sunday’s tripleheader comes to a conclusion with a game between Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders against Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. These two teams met back in Week 1 in Daniels’ first start of his NFL career.

Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth will be on the call for NBC.

Monday, January 13

Minnesota Vikings (5) vs. Los Angeles Rams (4)
8:00 p.m. Eastern, ESPN/ESPN+

Wild Card Weekend draws to a close with the Los Angeles Rams — who fell to the No. 4 seed when they lost to the Seattle Seahawks — hosting the 14-win Vikings.

This game will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, after the NFL made the decision to move the game out of Los Angeles due to the ongoing wildfires raging in California.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN, with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on the call.

What about the rest of the NFL Playoffs?

Looking ahead at the rest of the NFL Playoffs, you can expect each of the four networks — ESPN, FOX, NBC and CBS — to have a game during the Divisional Round of the playoffs. For example last season Divisional Round weekend began on Saturday with Texans-Ravens on ESPN, followed by Packers-49ers on FOX. Then on Sunday NBC aired the game between the Buccaneers and the Lions, while CBS closed out the weekend with Chiefs-Bills.

For the conference championship games, FOX will air the NFC Championship Game at 3:00 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, January 26. Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady will be on the call. The AFC Championship Game will follow on CBS at 6:30 p.m. Eastern, with Jim Nantz and Tony Romo in the booth.

What network will broadcast Super Bowl LIX?

Looking ahead you might be wondering what network will broadcast Super Bowl LIX, to be held in New Orleans on February 9.

That would be FOX, meaning that Tom Brady’s first season in the booth will end with him alongside Kevin Burkhardt for the call of Super Bowl LIX.

Get excited.
