Homa is a PGA Tour fan favorite. He is also one of the five players who would make an epic invite to your New Year’s Eve party.
It’s the time of year when there are plenty of holiday parties to attend. Families host annual events, inviting over their friends and loved ones to enjoy each other’s company.
That got us at SB Nation’s Playing Through thinking. Which PGA Tour players would make great guests at your New Year’s Eve party?
Max Homa is an obvious choice, as the PGA Tour fan favorite is always cracking jokes online and smiling. Not to mention, he understands holiday dynamics.
This holiday season I’d like to give a special shoutout to all the significant others riding in a cart watching their guys shoot 92 while pretending to care about that par they made on 13. U are the real MVPs and deserve the best gifts

Homa is a clear choice, but these are the five players that we would invite to our New Year’s Eve get-together.
5. Tiger Woods

The Big Cat is on this list because — who are we kidding, he would make any party instantly better.
His name alone would give people the largest guest list they’ve ever seen. Tiger Woods isn’t the most outgoing guy, but regardless, having him at the party would be epic. He is almost a consolation pick because Woods will always move the needle.
4. Viktor Hovland

Another guy who doesn’t necessarily scream party animal, but Viktor Hovland would make an excellent choice. He seems like the guy who would bring the best beverage or party favor.
Hovland is also extremely friendly, so the kids and elderly would love him. His manners seem top-notch, making him another solid invite.
3. Shane Lowry

Shane Lowry, the big man from Ireland, would be an iconic choice for the seasonal get-together. You just know he would bring excellent beer and ingest his fair share.
Lowry would likely be singing the loudest, and his energy screams, ‘I’m here for a good time.’
After winning the Open Championship, the Claret Jug saw plenty of action. Why wouldn’t Lowry bring that energy to the New Year’s party?
2. Joel Dahmen
Bushmills Irish Whiskey
Speaking of golfers who enjoy a good time, the Netflix legend Joel Dahmen would be another easy choice. He has his own cocktail with Bushmills Whiskey, for crying out loud. Dahmen could bring the alcohol and show everyone how exemplary his beverage-caddying skills are. He also lives life to the fullest, emphasizing fun as much as possible.
Dahmen would have a blast, and that’s why he made the list.

Of course, Homa would be the top selection. His popularity is sure to draw a crowd.
Homa would also make the fellow guests laugh with his rib-tickling humor. When the Taylor Swift karaoke comes out, he and his wife will be able to slay all the classics.
These are the five guys we would choose to invite to the annual party. Who would you pick and why? Sound off in the comments below!
