The 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix got off to an auspicious The 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix got off to an inauspicious start when Carlos Sainz Jr. drove over an open manhole cover during the first practice session, bringing FP1 to a halt and causing tremendous damage to his SF-23.
From there, however, the race was one of the more dramatic of the season, a race that ended with Charles Leclerc’s thrilling overtake of Sergio Pérez on the final lap to snatch P2 from the Red Bull driver. While Max Verstappen had already clinched the Drivers’ Championship, and Red Bull the Constructors’ title, by that point in the season Leclerc’s pass kept Ferrari in the fight for second in Mercedes.
Another thrilling aspect of the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix? The special liveries teams rolled out for the event.
2025 is already giving us more of the same. Here are the special liveries teams will be running this week as they rocket down the Vegas Strip.
Sauber unveils a special theme livery for the Las Vegas Grand Prix
Sauber introduced a twist on their black and green livery for this week’s Las Vegas Grand Prix, utilizing a “flame” element while maintaining the same color scheme:
Fans hope the special livery helps the team deliver their first points of the 2024 campaign.
Alpine brings back the pink for the Las Vegas Grand Prix
Ahead of the 2024 season, Alpine teased fans with the notion that they would be running an all-pink challenger for the season. While fans might have been let down when the team rolled out the A524, as pink was a secondary color in the scheme to start the year, those fans will be overjoyed over the final three races of the 2024 campaign.
On Tuesday Alpine unveiled their look for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which they will use for the rest of the season. It is a new pink scheme in conjunction with title partner BWT, a water treatment company:
Like Sauber, Alpine released the livery with a video on social media:

Thanks to a double-podium finish from Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly in the São Paulo Grand Prix, Alpine currently sits sixth in the Constructors’ Championship standings.
Now the pink is back. Truly a great time to be an Alpine fan.
Williams brings the yellow with Keeper Security
Williams was one of the first teams to roll out a special livery for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with this design featuring both the yellow on the engine cover, as well as the branding and logo for Keeper Security, one of their partners:
