We go over the Texans’ betting odds for making the 2025 NFL Playoffs after their Week 11 win over the Cowboys.

The Houston Texans took care of business on Monday Night Football to close out Week 11. They beat the depleted Dallas Cowboys 34-10 with Joe Mixon rushing for three touchdowns and the defense adding a forced fumble they returned for a score to put the game away in the fourth quarter. The Texans improved to 7-4 with the win and lead the AFC South by two games.

Texans odds of winning the AFC South: -1450

The Texans are overwhelming favorites to win the AFC South division title following the win. They entered Week 11 with -1150 odds and improved to -1250 on Sunday. The Sunday slate saw the Indianapolis Colts beat the New York Jets while the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans both lost.

The Texans have wins over the Jaguars and Colts thus far this season. They have two games with the Titans and one each with the Jaguars and Colts remaining this season. The next two weeks will be especially critical as they host Tennessee and travel to Jacksonville before their Week 14 bye. The Colts are hosting Detroit and traveling to New England in that same span. If Houston wins both games and Indianapolis loses both games, Houston would clinch the AFC South title by their Week 14 bye.
