The FIA and F1 have released the start times for the 2025 season, with one notable shift
With the calendar turning to February, the 2025 Formula 1 season is truly just around the corner. Later this month all ten teams will gather in London for the first-ever season launch event, as the teams will unveil their liveries for the upcoming season at a live event at The O2 Arena. Teams are also launching their challengers at stand-alone events this month, and at the end of February all ten teams will be in action for pre-season testing at Bahrain International Circuit.
The latest sign that the season is right around the corner? F1 and the FIA just released the start times for each race event this season. This post from the FIA illustrates the F1 Sprint, Qualifying, and Grand Prix race times for each race weekend this season (all times local):
Fans in the United States may notice some more favorable race times, beginning with the Las Vegas Grand Prix. While that race remains a night race that starts on Saturday night, the race will begin at 8:00 p.m. local time, 11:00 p.m. on the East Coast. Previous installments of the Las Vegas Grand Prix began after midnight Eastern time.
Max Verstappen won last season’s Las Vegas Grand Prix, securing his latest F1 Drivers’ Championship in the process.
