KAT is fed up.
The New York Knicks are laying the absolute smackdown on the Orlando Magic in the final night of NBA Cup group play on Tuesday, and no one is having a better time than Karl-Anthony Towns. Towns put up another 20-10 game to power the Knicks’ offense, showing his full scoring arsenal by splashing threes and hitting tough shots inside the arc. Towns has had several memorable moments in this game, but none more than his reaction to bumping bodies with Magic big man Mo Wagner.
Wagner, the older brother of Orlando star Franz Wagner, has a reputation for being an irritant around the league. Wagner and Towns were tussling inside all night, and at a certain point Towns got fed up.
As the two players were banging down low, Towns briefly paused to literally roll his eyes before about hitting a turnaround jumper. Watch the reaction here:
Everything about this is perfect. Towns seems to have found his swagger a bit since being traded to the Knicks, and sometimes all it takes is a matchup with a pest like Wagner to bring out some attitude.
Wagner blocked Towns later in the quarter and started clapping his hands in his face. Towns literally clapped back.
