Lonnie Walker took on every member of the Sixers for this ridiculous dunk.
Lonnie Walker has been one of the best bargain free agent signings of the NBA offseason. After having a breakout run with the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2023 NBA Playoffs, Walker surprisingly saw little interest over the summer and eventually settled for a one-year, $2.3 million deal with the Brooklyn Nets.
Walker has been on a tear to start the season in Brooklyn, pulling of the difficult feat of improving both his usage rate and true shooting percentage. Walker going for 20+ points off the bench is becoming a common sight for the Nets, and he did it again on Sunday afternoon against the Philadelphia 76ers. Walker didn’t just having another scoring explosion against Philly — he also might have put down the best dunk of the year.
During the first quarter, Walker took the ball coast-to-coast, sliced through the defense, and dunked on the entire 76ers team. Watch the play here:
This angle is even better:
There have already been some incredible NBA dunks this season, but this one is near the top of the list.
Walker just keeps getting buckets for the Nets. There are plenty of teams kicking themselves for not signing him this offseason, starting with the Lakers who gave out way more money to less productive players (cough, cough Gabe Vincent) over the summer.
