Minnesota governor hides secret message in his Timberwolves proclamation

Bring Ya Ass!

Politicians love to jump on the bandwagon of a local sports team when the playoffs roll around — because it proves they’re red-blooded people just like us. However, while most of this is simple pandering, Minnesota governor Tim Walz took it to an entire other level with his proclamation of “WOLVES BACK DAY.”

This might seem really basic. Nothing of note really hear — but read the first letter of ever line in the document.

BRING YA ASS

This has become the Wolves’ rallying cry of the NBA Playoffs after Anthony Edwards lay down the gauntlet to Charles Barkley of Inside the NBA to “Bring Ya Ass” to Minnesota after Chuck admitted he hadn’t been to the state in 20 years.

Now it’s become the signature statement of the Wolves, with the jumbotron at the arena displaying Ant’s message — and the state even buying bringyaass.com to redirect to the state tourism website.

Now BRING YA ASS is now part of an official state document. What a time to be alive.
