Patrick Beverley super fan achieves of dream of getting every jersey signed

Published on

No one loves Patrick Beverley more than this guy.

Patrick Beverley is an icon to a certain type of NBA fan. Beverley spent the first few years of his career playing overseas. with stops in Ukraine, Russia, and Greece. The Houston Rockets signed him in 2012, and Pat Bev became known as a bulldog defender at the point of attack who could also knock down a three-point shot. He was never the biggest or most athletic guard, but his toughness and determination has helped him outlast many of his more talented peers. He’s made nearly $80 million in the NBA throughout his career, and he’s still cashing paychecks and earning some minutes with the Philadelphia 76ers this season.

As the Sixers took on the Boston Celtics on Friday night, one diehard Beverley fan approached the veteran guard to sign his jersey. Then he revealed another jersey, and another one, and then a surprise shirt. Watch the video here:

The shirt reveal is just excellent: Pat Bev immediately dapped up the fan, and signed every last piece of apparel he had. By the way, Beverley also scored 26 points against the league-best Celtics, helping pick up the slack in a close loss in a game when Philly didn’t have star center Joel Embiid.

Someone has to get this guy a Rockets Beverley jersey, because that’s really where he was at his best. Hey, Christmas is just around the corner.
