Scott Foster ejected Chris Paul in Warriors-Suns to take their beef to the next level

Published on

The hate is real between Chris Paul and Scott Foster.

Chris Paul and Scott Foster have something close to a blood feud. The future Hall of Fame point guard and the veteran referee have been beefing since the start of Paul’s career 19 years ago. Paul and Foster met again when the Golden State Warriors took on the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night, and the animosity between the two played out for all to see.

Foster ejected Paul after a long argument at the end of the first half with the Suns on the middle of a huge run. Paul berated Foster for nearly a minute before receiving his first technical foul. Paul then appeared to escalate the argument with some personal insults for Foster, and that earned him a second technical foul and the ejection.

Foster then gave Warriors head coach Steve Kerr a technical foul for arguing behalf of Paul. Watch the video of the ejection here:

It’s isn’t hard to read Paul’s lips after he got hit with the first technical foul. This three-word message earned him his second T, and subsequent ejection.

Chris Paul just told Scott Foster what every #Rockets fan has wanted to tell him since game 7 of 2018.

Dating back to last season, Paul’s teams had a 2-17 record in playoff games officiated by Foster.
